SNSD, in the midst of preparing for their Japanese debut, have released a 32 second teaser of a Japanese version of “Genie.” The teaser starts off with a man entering an attic and coming upon a genie lamp. He rubs it, some pixie dust flies, and wah lah! Nine new genie dolls to play with…

During their activities in Korea, SNSD went for the sexy but mature concept. However, they will go the totally opposite in Japan and try to pull off the cute concept once again just like the old days; because Japan is all about being cute. SNSD will release Genie in Japan on September 8th
